Models
Section titled “Models”Pick the default model for new chats. Selecting a model saves it at once. To change the model of a chat you already have, use the model badge in that chat instead.
If no model is installed yet, ask an admin to add one.
Behavior
Section titled “Behavior”Your defaults for temperature, Top-P, Top-K, repeat penalty, reply length and seed. Every new chat starts with them. You can still change them for one chat from the chat itself. The settings and their ranges are listed in Chat and channels.
Knowledge
Section titled “Knowledge”Chunks retrieved per question. How many passages from the knowledge base are added to each question, 1 to 10. More passages give the model more context, but also more noise and a longer prompt.
My documents. Upload files that only your own chats can search. Your quota, set by an admin, is shown at the top. Supported types are .txt, .md, .pdf, .docx, .odt, .rtf, .html, .csv and .json.
If the tab says there is no embedding model yet, the knowledge base is not set up. Ask an admin.
Account
Section titled “Account”Profile. First name, last name and a profile picture. The picture is shown beside your messages in channels. Without one, your initials are shown. PNG, JPG, GIF and WebP are accepted, up to 2 MB.
Timezone. Message times are shown in this timezone. New accounts start on UTC.
Password. Enter your current password, then the new one twice.
Appearance. Pick a UI theme. It changes at once, and only for you.
Rule notes. Choose whether your saved persona, rules and skill notes are added to new chats and channels automatically. It is off by default. It only affects chats you start from now on. See Notes.
